Trekking over blazing floors,
Aching for the sight of neon glow
Held by a thin black frame,
Through a set of rose shaded eyes.
My gaze uninterrupted, mindless and bland.
Against translucent panes, my conscience reflects.
I strain against darkness as the world drains from my sight.
My savior, I’m forsaken. No faith in myself,
There is nothing I can do.
Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
